I went on a diet and exercise regiment twice in my life, and both times it changed my life. Here is my inspirational story...
The first time I dieted was in junior high school. I was already the unicorn-drawing, oldies-listening, fart-blowing, dumpster-diving, Potter-loving weirdo. Naturally, kids were making fun of me behind my back for being a little weird, but fat jokes were popular at the time, so my weight became the popular subject.
It didn't bug me much at first. I thought that if I ignored all the gossip and teasing and name calling it would stop, but it didn't.
Eventually a friend decided to help me by offering a suggestion. He said that all I had to do to lose weight was to cut back on candy and bread, replace one meal with a leafy green salad each day, and walk one mile every day.
It sounded easy enough so I did it. I walked a mile each day, cut back on carbs
